We established that our film might also appeal to our target audience for more specific reasons. Here, we interviewed a varied group of under 18s, our most obvious audience, and asked them what it was that they might find appealing in our film. We found this to be particularly useful as it gave us an insight into some of the features of our film that could be made more enjoyable. The discussion of some within the clip give reference to cultural and social themes and personal interest.
We discovered that our film appealed to some because of the sporting - Boxing factor, which is provenly a respected theme in past films such as the Rocky trilogy and Raging Bull. Alongside this, we found a trend in how most boxing films have inspirational story lines to them. Although ours is a spoof-documentary, it still contains elements of ambition. This may also be something that would appeal to those who wanted to watch our film. The cultural aspects of our film such as, London-based slang and fashion makes the film more relatable. Through this our trailer will appeal to a wider scope of youth.
